Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field or higher qualification is preferred
  • Must have one year of working experience in corporate business or the logistics industry.
  • Proven experience in research, planning, and relationship building within the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Knowledge and interest in international trade regulations, legal frameworks, and business operational protocols.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills in the field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document management and data analysis.

Major Roles / Responsibilities

  1. Communication with agents for business expansion, updating current business status including but not limited to equipment positioning and management
  2. Research and agent profiling includes the expansion and evaluation of new agents in existing business services. Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and establish credible business relationships.
  3. Review and assess proposals from potential partners to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  4. Equipment management; includes recording, tracking and repair and maintenance of containers.
  5. Report preparation as per requirement from management.
  6. Assist in managing contracts, including renewals and systematic documentation.
  7. Handle corporate email communication, promoting the company's business scope as directed.
  8. Liaise with agents or third parties for timely upkeep.
  9. Perform other assigned tasks to support company operations and growth initiatives.
